On the occasion of World Breast Feeding Week from 1 to 7 August QRG Super Speciality Hospital organized a session with lactation counselor Ms Navodita She briefed and explained new mothers and going to be mothers that breast feeding is not just important for infants but also to the mothers themselves We focused on all the merits of mothers milk and urged them to feed the baby atleast for the first 6 months of age which will help the infant to grow healthy and strong Also its beneficial for mothers as breast feeding helps in weight loss after pregnancy reduces the risk of getting breast ovarian cancer in the future.
