Her practice includes glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, ocular surface diseases including dry eye disease, LASIK, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Bhartiya completed her MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, followed by a Clinical Research Associateship in Cornea and Glaucoma at Dr. R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. She also completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Glaucoma at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and is currently enrolled in the Doctorate en Medicin program at the same institution.
She serves on the Associate Advisory Board of the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery and is the Executive Editor of its journal, the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice. She is also Editor-in-Chief of Clinical and Experimental Vision and Eye Research.
Dr. Bhartiya is the founder of Vision Unlimited, a social impact organization in Gurugram focused on community eye health. She works with advanced diagnostic and surgical infrastructure at Marengo Asia Hospitals, following evidence-based protocols for diagnosis and treatment.
